I have been unable thus far to find further information on Mr. Elliott other than the dates 1870-1876 from Glen Phillip's book Ontario Photographers List 1851-1900. UPDATE: I have recently found the following ad in the Sarnia Observer showing that Mr. Elliott took over the studio of Dugald Ferguson, retaining all of Mr. Ferguson's negatives.

Good days : My name is Juan Carlos Porto. I am the president of an association that works for the historical recovery of my people. My village is Villagarcia de Arosa and has a huge historical relationship with the Royal Navy. The English navy lived several years with our ancestors. Our website is www.patrimoniovilagarcia.com. We collect old photos and history of our city. Don't earn money, it is not a business, is altruistic.
